City Church is a church at the Heart of the City with the City at Heart!

City Church follows a neighborhood- parish model that focuses on developing gatherings of Christ- followers in a variety of settings and group sizes. We believe that whenever we come together in any manner in the name of Jesus, we are the Church. City Church is affiliated with the Destiny Network of Churches. We embrace the essential orthodox Christian beliefs expressed in the Apostle’s Creed and the Nicene Creed. We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God, a Christian church that encourages Spirit-empowered living.

For every neighborhood-parish of the city, the vision of City Church is for people not only to attend church, but also to be present in their communities as the church. We believe we are called to be the people of God, loving and affecting change in the lives of people throughout Tampa. As passionate followers of Jesus, we believe each individual Christ-follower has God-given abilities, passions and gifts to help build the church and people’s lives.
