Stephanie Russell Krebs  is the dean of students and serves as the chief student affairs officer for The University of Tampa.  Dr. Krebs holds a bachelor’s degree in theater/speech from Butler University (IN), a master’s degree from Western Illinois University in College Student Personnel, and a Ph.D. from Colorado State University in Higher Education Leadership.  Dr. Krebs is active in various community and professional organizations.  Dr. Krebs was a member of Leadership Tampa 2015 and the Chair of the Tampa Bay Girls on the Run Advisory Board.  On a regional level she served as the chair of South NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) conference in Chattanooga, TN. On a national level she served as convention coordinator of the NACA national convention in Minneapolis, MN, and has served as a faculty member for a variety of NACA summer workshops as well as a member of the NACA Board of Directors. She has been awarded the NACA C. Shaw Smith New Professional Award, the NACA Outstanding Project Manager, and the NACA Outstanding Commitment to Diversity Award.   Dr. Krebs has been a special guest speaker at the Women’s Leadership Institute for the National Student Personnel Association (NASPA).   Dr. Krebs has presented at numerous conferences, including serving as a guest speaker at the COCA (Canadian Organization for Campus Activities) national convention and is a frequent author in NACA’s Programming Magazine. Dr. Krebs most exciting moment is when she wrote and delivered the invocation for a town hall meeting at the University of Tampa with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.  Dr. Krebs is happily married and has two daughters (13 and 9) and one son (2 ).
